PAT Testing
A PAT test is a "Portable Appiance Test" and it includes both a visual inspection and an in depth check using specialist PAT testing equipment.
The test includes earth continuity, lead polarity and an insulation resistance check.
At the end of the PAT rest every appliance will be marked with "Passed" or "Failed" and records kept of the results.
These tests ensure that electrical equipment is maintained to protect the public.
